i've noticed that in europe guys find me attractive and usually ask for my number..but back here in the US ... it seems the total opposite.. i'd be lucky to have at least 1 guy tell me they are interested in me. why is that? honestly..

It may have nothing to do with your looks, actually it probably doesn't. It may be the way you carry yourself. NOT ALL but some guys everywhere are idiots (and chicks too). You are probably hanging out with the wrong type of guy here in the states. Chances are you are "going after" a guy here and in Europe you are just there being yourself. Guys like to be the pursuer, it is their nature.
