Hey, I'am currently on this diet where I eat a lot fruits, veggies, yougart,and grains and i work out everday. I have lost 8 ponds in 3 weeks going from 129 to 121.This past weekend I cheated on the diet I ate fast food, sweets and drank liquer and did not excersise. in the begining of the week i weighed myself and I have gained 7 pounds that put me at 128. The next day I started back on my diet I weighed myself everyday and I was loosing 2 to3 pounds a day, by the end of the week I say around that Friday I was back to the weight I lost at first which was 121. Why did my body loose weight that fast or was it just water weight, did I actually loose the weight or was it false weight and all iIneeded was excersie. i just want to know what happen so can you please reply back.

You diagnosed yourself...fast food, sweets and liquor. The combination of too much salt and sugar, including high-fructose corn syrup, which is in many fast foods, causes the cells to bloat with fluids and fat. Your rapid weight gain and loss was probably all fluid. But it should not be considered false weight, for had you continued on that path, your body would have converted those temporary fluids and fats to permanent fat cells.
Exercise causes the cells to push the fat out to be used by the muscles and burned for their energy need.
You're doing great on your stated diet and exercise program.

yikes sweety, be careful. i know youre not going anorexic, but if your weight flunctuates back and forth alot at a time, you could be at risk for stretchmarks. i have also gained alot of weight in a very small period of time, and then lost it just as quickly as it came. i think it has something to do with how our bodies are being trained to work. you were loosing weight before, and then you gained it, maybe your body is trying to fight back or something within those lines. alright sorry this wasnt helpful but just be careful. plus it might just be water weight, did you eat alot of saltyfoods or drink high calorie drinks?

if you really want to lose weight don't eat fruits they contain a lot of sugar if you are serious in losing weight stay away from breads,pasta,and sugar.exercise daily and drink plenty of water,remember that all you need is a 30 min work out don't push to hard all you need is to get that metabolism going at a faster rate you will start seeing results in two to three weeks i promise good luck let me know how it goes

Eating unhealthy foods increased your blood sodium levels, causing your body to retain water. When you stopped you got rid of this excess water. Your body needs to maintain a certain sodium level and when it gets too high a hormone called ADH (antidiuretic hormone) is released and tells your body to hold on to water to balance it out.

Water weight.

Its healthiest to lose 2 to 3 lbs a week......if you do that you have a better chance of keeping it off.

Focus on losing inches - don't get hung up on a number....you'll just be sabotaging yourself.

Yup, water weight. Also your bowel movements might have gotten off since eating different kinds of foods can do that to ya.

You are probably are just getting dehydrated or have a broken scale.
Buy a new scale, and don't weigh yourself every day. Once a week will give you a more accurate record of your weight.

it was prob just water weight. just get back on track with your diet
