My current husband rescued my children and I from a HORRIBLE realtionship, adopted my children and has never once looked back. He traded in his mustang convertable for a mini van. He doesn't ask me to work and clean house. (even though I do, I am a neat freak, but he helps even after a long day at work without me asking) On top of that, he picks me wild flowers on the way home from work, runs me a bath for when I get home from my night classes and is wonderful. It may not be romantic everyday but it is right out of a story book. I am very lucky.

Interesting; most guys enjoy spoiling their lady, especially in the courtship phase. However there is an exception.. a lady that expects (according to the "a man should" book) usually doesn't get as much as a lady that just enjoys what she gets.. WHY? - because we enjoy the gratefulness in return.. If you expect it there's nothing to be grateful for, he just did what he's supposed to do (definitely doesn't work for me)... Consider this: We are all human beings; if I do something for you and you let me know you liked it I will want to do more because you obviously appreciate my effort. On the other hand, if I do something and get nothing in response, I will try harder a couple of more times, however if I never get a positive response, I will spend my energy elsewhere.
p.s. there is a "lady should" book also and you girls don't like it much either.

They are Myth, hence the name "Fairy Tale". Of course people have done nice things for each other in real life, but nothing is happily ever after. A real relationship takes work and communication. Your partner cannot read your mind.

He drew me a picture on sweetest day. ♥ That was really special to me because we both draw- he's very good.
It just meant a lot because I knew that for however many hours he was drawing that, he was thinking of me the whole time =)
Nothing fairy tale like though.

They are fairy tales. If you want to make them real, you have to not only write the story, but be willing to act it out.
Love is about giving, not getting.
Seems to me, you are all about getting from what I've read. What are you willing to do to make your fairy tale a reality?

When I met my husband 6 yrs ago he was living in the US...He gave up every thing, his family and friends, his job and house, to travel to Australia to be with me...
6yrs on and he still treats me like his queen...he leaves me little love notes in places he knows I will find them, like stuck to the bottom of the iron.....he picks daisys from our garden and puts them in my hair...he tells me every day how beautiful he thinks I am and how lucky he is to have me...he holds me close at night...and plays with my hair when we snuggle on the lounge...
I cannot count the number of ways he shows me he loves me every day...
I could babble on all day about how much of a fairy tale our life together is...
I had to wait my whole life to find my soul mate...but I would do it all over again in a heartbeat to spend my life with him....

sure, the Daoine Sidhe are authentic. I have not in any respect seen them myself, although the data has fully confident me that they do certainly exist. those who're skeptical of the life of the "reliable human beings" frequently do not understand some thing about them.
