Well, while I do have to agree that your generalization is very broad, I also have to submit to the fact that you are right in many respects. Most people in the western part of the world do accept Christianity and nothing else, being Pagan, that makes things difficult. And someone earlier said that if they accepted another religion, they wouldnt be a true Christian. That is untrue, understanding and tolerance are tenets of the Christian faith, unfortunately, most who claim to be Christian do not practice the religion as it was meant to be. I have no problems with Christianity or its god. It's the christians that get to me.

You've observed all the people in the West? I know quite a few people out west who follow a variety of beliefs/religions outside of Christianity.

I am sorry we have not met!!!!! (smiles). Many people I know do not only accept christianity as the truth and forsake all other religions.
In fact we forsake all religions as they cause much duality and separation from Oneness. As a light worker I work with any Spiritual Energy. They are not just human spirit but also Angel and Elemental and two weeks ago 'Ptah' introduced himself to me and a friend whilst channeling. Thanks to these special spiritual guides I have learn't much about what religion has done to humanity......the Spirit of self being ignored and that the work of 'God' which I prefer to call Divine Source is not being acknowledged by individuals. Religion has blocked many people from finding divinity within them and when they do and realise it was always there, they feel ripped off. Any religion will separate. That is just the way it is and always will be no matter what one says. One can never know oneness when one believes one is separated from the One. To associate self with the flesh is widely known to be an injustice against selfs spiritual growth. This is also mentioned within religions. But they do this everyday, not going within to connect. Religion has stopped this connection by way of only 'this way' or 'that way' leads to salvation. I already have found salvation and accept the many lives I have lived, and yet to live if I so choose. I know I will choose because it is a souls choice to help heal this planet and all whom dwell, so if my home coming is going to mean more lives before I decide the final journey, then so be it. One can not be One with out everyONE. No One gets left behind as Divine Sources knows all there is to know about all that is and ever will be. No man who walks this earth will ever deliver to me the Divine Truth that works through me, only Divine Source can give me this truth, and I feel this truth every day I awaken to 'see' where I can 'give light' to those whom are asking 'why me?'
Blessings be yours in peace and the way of light

Contrary to that... the movements have made a change within the last decade actually... Asian people in Asian countries are begining to adopt the Christian path more and more which focuses on developing Faith, while the western countries are begining to embrace eastern religions like Hinduism, Taoism and Buddhism all which focuses on the developing the Mind.
Its kinda like a global criss-cross hehehe

Because God has blessed this Country. Around the world many Countries are having all kinds of problems because they have forgotten God. Sad to say other Countries are spreading their false Gods here and soon God will pass judgement on us too, if we don't change.
All smart people around the World believe the Bible once they study it, finding it to be the only true word of God. They know and believe Jesus Christ is who he says he is, Lord of Lords and King of Kings.
We are a learned Country, with many Schools, Colleges, and Universities. Therefore we can read for ourselves, not follow just any false teachings.

Its a generalisation. Not true from the outset.
The ones that do, i think its obviously becuase of a long history of Christianity in our culture - its interlinked and engrained. Little wonder the perception is that God is Christian. Indeed the Western world is still majority Christian, so it seems obvious that Westerners would think of Christianity as being the 'truth'.
Still, massive generalisation.

Big generalization. I'm here in the U.S. and let me tell you - I don't accept Christianity as truth, nor do I forsake all other religions.

besides, will you forsake your personal beliefs? if you are true in your beliefs than nothing will sway you, right?
