In the old AOL Instant Messanger (i seriously doubt it, but i think it was version 4.9) you could direct connect and like click f12 to record a sound and send it like in the same window. I just got AOL Instant Messanger Triton (the newest one... whatever it is). How exactly do you do this? I think I get the part of direct connect, but how do you record and send? Like you have the microphone, you click, you record, and you can send it like a file, just that it's a recording and it's not really saved. I really liked that "feature" and i want to know if you can do it on AOL Instant Messanger Triton. Thank you!

Well, not via AIM, you can't... but if you use a free sound record/editor, you can.. Like Wavepad. Here's the link for it: http://www.nch.com.au/wavepad/index.html
