There all about the same, take no notice of the time table on the bus stop as the bus/buses usually come along when they want too. but mostly in pairs. There's a saying you wait for one for ages the 2 or 3 come along together. Oh and by the way Stage Coach is no longer in London. what was Stage Coach is now, south-east of the Thames is Sel-Kent, and in the east of London it's now East London

Actually they're all pretty good. If any operator fails to run properly they get fined or have their contracts taken away. Obviously things can go wrong - mainly due to chronic traffic congestion, but there's not much the bus companies can do about that. Anyone who thinks things are bad obviously isn't as old as me. Unfortunately I can remember the 1970's and, my God things were TERRIBLE then. Every day anything up to 30% of services didn't run due to staff or bus shortage. Management of the old London Transport were completely incompetent and the union was so powerful they ran the show and did what they wanted. Thankfully those days are gone! By the way I used to work for LT , so I know!

It used to be Thames Weald Coaches, which operated from Darenth in Kent to Romford in Essex via the Dartford Tunnel. It operated two minibuses and was owned by a doctor in Kent.

All rubbish - and a point to note TWICE when I have been on a bus a driver has stopped and refused to drive any further as someone hasn't paid their fare.

All the passengers (who had paid) had to get off and wait for another one.

Disgraceful!

For me, they are all the same, and look the same. Until yesterday, I didn't even know that different companies are operating buses in London. I thought it was operated by one company, till Metroline went on strike for some reason.
