I depends on the flavor composition and what you are actually cooking.

However if you are using wine in a chicken recipe or as part of a marinade, it is usually to tenderize the meat. Wine is acidic, so you can replace the wine with lemon or lime juice.

But consider how this will impact your other ingrediants. You might want to consider a new recipe all together.

You can use broth, but you will lose the flavor the wine will give the recipe. There is a definite taste that only wine will give.

I saw a recipe on Martha today that gave you the option of using wine or chicken broth. Hope this helps.

As you know wine is a little acidic in taste, right?You might want to use apple cider to replace it or just use normal stock to cook with. Unsweetened apple juice is also great to use as a cooking stock.

White wine, chicken broth or apple juice.

If it's a drink mix, use that sparkling apple cider or grape juice (sparkle, or non)
