Left.

The wind usually comes out of the northeast on all the islands, Kauai included. Since the Lihue airport in on the southeast side of Kauai, you'll probably get the best view of the island if you sit on the left side of the airplane.

Please note that I said "usually" and "probably".

On a typical day, with the wind coming from the northeast, the approach into LIH's runway 3 is probably the most scenic of all the airports in Hawaii.

The inside?

Sorry, I couldn't resist. It's hard to say, since the prevailing wind will probably determine your approach. You could try asking the airline, or, once on board, check with the flight attendants. They could probably tell you. Good luck!
