You don't you should cry out until you can't cry, soon you'll realize he's gone and except it, but don't push that phase, stick with the first phase (crying) until you READY to move on.

First of all I'm very sorry about your dad. With the way you're feeling right now about your dad you can't force yourself to stop the pain and the crying, when things like this happen it takes time to heal. All I can tell you is your daddy is in a better place and he will always be watching over you. God bless you and your family.

Know that everyone around you, loves you.
Know that everytime the wind blows - that's your Dad blowing you a kiss, everytime the sun breaks from behind a cloud - he's smiling at you. Remember everytime it rains - that's because he's crying because he's so very proud of you.
You carry on crying if you want to, crying isn't a bad thing. You just think of your Dad and maybe you can think up some funny jokes to tell him. I'm sure you can make him laugh.
God bless.

I'm really sorry for your loss...but you have to stop crying, because your dad is still with you...he is not there physically, but he will remain in your heart forever....you can always think about him and remember him...and know that, he is in heaven...in a very nice place, and that he loves you and remembers you as well...
I'm sure your dad wants you to be strong and to stop crying...do so, you'll make him proud!!!

You go ahead and cry as much as you feel like it. My daddy died too. But I was 25. It still didn't feel good. You will feel better in a while. It takes time to feel better. God will help you. Just ask Him to give you strength.
