Sure, go ahead. Thanksgiving is family time- not image time! Just enjoy the food. The increase in calories for a few days will do your metabolism good-- your body will even work more efficiently to burn fat after Thanksgiving is over. It's kinda like giving your metabolism a little boost. Just hold off on the pecan pie and stick to pumpkin instead. Happy eating!

It will hurt you if you totally ignore your diet. Eat more of what you want, but if you ignore your diet, then you might as well not be on a diet. If you do ignore it then you might crave more food and/or different food that might not be as healthy afterwords. Eat more meat and vegies than dessert other wise you'll be hurting the day after.

I allow myself 2 free meals a week and that is really working for me.....helps you stay on your diet.....maybe you can just do one free meal a week if you're not as big of a pig as me! (plus it helps keep your body from reducing your metabolic rate, and therefore it may help you lose weight in the long run)

Nope, holidays are exempt on diets, so enjoy your Thanksgiving dinner! Just don't binge, or you'll regret it afterward.

If you over eat, you will get sick since your body is not used to it. Eat what you want but stick to small portions.
