12 lb black drum. yes, yes.
Most interesting/fun - was fishing for crappie. Zebco 33 (the newer, cheaper ones), 10 lb line, #6 hook with 2" minnow. Big splash behind me and my girlfriend sighs "We'll never catch any crappie with that Muskie working the area." I was new to fishing and did not know what a "Muskie" was.
I spun around in my seat (we were in a little rowboat) and said "I'll just catch him and get him out of the way. Cast about 100 ft, right onto the circles (must've hit him in the head) He took the bait, right down to the bottom. I figured I'd pulled a log off a shelf and got snagged. He wouldn't move. I finally got him in (he was only 24") Was the funnest catch ever I think.
She had grown up fishing these lakes and never had caught a muskie. The whole time we dated after that, I called muskie "The fish-per-cast fish." I think they're actually called the fish of a thousand casts.......!

The biggest fish I ever fought was an (estimated) 400 lb. Pacific Blue Marlin. There were four guys on the boat, and we each fought him for an hour before he got tired of playing with us and broke the line.
The biggest fish I ever caught and landed was a 60 lb. Yellowfin Tuna. It tasted great, but even moreso did the case of Foster's Lager I won (on a bet between boat crews) with it.

A 38lb. Muskellunge from Lake Winnibigoshish located in Northern Minnesota in 1990. I believe the state record was also caught in this lake, 54lbs. I think. Legally I cannot say what happened to this fish.

Well, I just hooked a big fish, named Donnie. The fish is 5'11", 170 lbs., He tastes really, really, really, good. And yes, I like it, I like it alot. But no seriously, the biggest fish he caught was a 9 pound bass about 10" long. Yes, he ate it and like it. And he liked it alot.

Sailfish, 85 inches (that's seven feet!) 150 or so pounds.
I ate him. Me and the whole town in Baja Mexico ate him should I say.
The senoras prepared it in a variety of ways, but my favorite was "a la Veracruzana".
