This is an update on my kitten, Heidi, who is 8 months old and doesn't like human hands and as you know, we haven't been able to touch her after 2 1/2 months since adopting her. We are trying all your suggestions.
I'm trying a holistic remendy now and will see.
She has the most discusted look on her face when I pet and hug my other kitten, or she will look at us and just go hide. I thought if she saw that hands are for comfort and not pain she would come around.
Is she jealous? Has anyone had this problem?

I have 3 cats and all of them have different personalities when it comes to being pet or held. My 3 year old female follows me everywhere, loves being held but does get jealous when I pet my 2 y.o. male cat. My newest acquisition, a 5 y.o. Burmese never wants to be pet, always hides and I have to literally play hide and seek with her in order for me to groom her. She's just not a lap cat. Although, once I start brushing her she doesn't run away and actually relaxes. So, be persistent, find what is it that she does like, try giving her treats for every time she lets you play with her.

maybe shes jealous or upset. sometimes cats run away and somethimes they push their way up towards you so that you can pet them instead of the other cat. They have their own personalities; just like humans!

she probably was an outside cat and is not use to people around. And it could take a while to adjust.

The other cat is totally jealous! If you wanna pet you cat, pet it when your other cat can't see.

Pick her up and hold her every chance you get. She needs to be socialized. don't give up, she will come around. be sure to wear a glove at first
