Well, I have been there and lost great friends because of boys. I think I would forget this one and be sure and NEVER tell her who you like from now on if she's gonna go for them ahead of you. I lost some good friends in high school over guys and it WAS NOT worth it because guys come and guys go....but your girlfriends are friends that you are likely have the rest of your life!

Sounds like the two of them are enjoying a mutual flirt.
. But really she isn't doing anything she shouldn't be doing, as far as this guy is concerned. I mean she isn't "stealing" YOUR man, because he isn't yours. Of course if this other guy she's seeing is a serious "boyfriend", that's not such nice behaviour - but since she seems to be doing her flirting out in the open, makes me think that nobody is being very serious about anybody.
I'm curious why you felt you needed to ask HER to set you up with this guy in the first place.. LOL I thought these days the gals were making the first move on a guy they liked about as much as the other way around. If I were you, I think what I'd do is just forget about both of them and eyeball around for some other boy. I'm a bit suspicious that there might be one other little game going on between the two of them. She could have told
this boy that you had taken a fancy to him, and the two of them decided to have a little fun at your expense. That would explain why they are flirting together so openly in front of you.

I would say something, First of all she has a baufriend what is she doing flirting with someone she is supposed to be hooking you up with thats what i would say to her, And make a mental note she is not a very good friend, look at what she is doing not only to you but to her boyfriend.....Reconsider before you call her your best friend again... THINK ABOUT IT good luck

You should most DEFINITELY say something to her.
Don't be rude or bitchy, just be matter of fact. Tell her just like you told us.
Hey friend, a little while ago I told you I liked this guy and to hook me up, but now it kind of seems like you're the one trying to hook up. Are you? Because I thought you were with (boyfriend).
Whatever she says, just ask her if she would kindly please back off because you already got dibbs.

You need to sit down and talk to her about this. If she has a BF and is flirting with another guy, look out! All you can do is talk to her and ask her why she's flriting with the guy you like.

She's only flirting with him, why not do the same.??.
You could ask her, jokingly, if she wouldn't mind sharing.
He'll get a buz out it and it'll give you a chance to get to know him.
Then at some time you could ask him if he knows your friends b/f.

well technically, she isnt hooked up with him and she has a boyfriend so u need to tell her that you like him and tell her she needs to stop flirting with him. If she doesnt stop then she is not your friend.
