in black couples?
I have never ever seen a black couple holding hands or kissing (ect...) in public. I go to a 53% black school and I've noticed over the years that I have yet to see a black couple even holding hands in public!
Is there a reason for this?
Has anyone else noticed?
I'm not trying to be rude, I'm genuinly curious and I want to know!

I'm not talking about a full on make out.
A peck after class in the halls, and holding hands.

Why wouldn't you want to hold hands?
I don't find it show-offy or HEY LOOK AT ME at all. It's just wanting to be close to the person your with.
What's so wrong with that?

Maybe its a matter of pride or something more personal to African Americans. To be honest I have no real opinion over public affection, but I have noticed that african americans are less likly to show it in public than other races ive encountered. (Also when you mean Affection, your talking love affection and not just hip hop style affection right?)
