im size 14-16, new partner, worried about getting naked?!!!?

Question

i have a new man and i am worried about getting naked for first time as i am not comfortable with my body.
he is in the army and very very toned and fit, where as i am not!!
will he be put off once he sees me naked?
help!!!!

I know it's scary, because I'm a size 14, too--but you've just got to be honest and remind yourself, he's seen you clothed; he knows you're not skinny, unless you have got some FABULOUS control garments. And since he knows, he apparently likes you just the way you are--go for it, goddess.:)

Lucky you! At least someone is getting some! I read Heat magazine today, and like a ridiculous percentage of men said the thing that they most focus on when a girl gets naked is her boobs. So just buy yourself a great Wonderbra, and take your top off first. Then just get into the moment, remember that as he's with you, he's probably not gonna be put off by your wobbly bits, since he obviously likes you anyway. Its gonna be your first time, he's gonna be so happy that he's getting some, that he's not gonna be analysing you. He's a man, he's gonna be like 'Wa-hey! Naked Lady!' No, he will not be put off when he sees you naked. Sweetie, he knows what size you are and if he had any sort of problem with it he wouldn't be with you. Having clothes on doesn't make you look much smaller sorry to say, but it is true. He likes you just the way you are. Besides 14-16 isn't that big. Seriously!!! It really isn't. Just know that you are a beautiful woman with that much more to love. Relax and enjoy because if you are acting nervous or self consious then he will be nervous and it won't be as good as it could be.

Here is some advice a good girlfriend of mine gave me it sounds wierd but it works: When you are getting ready for your date walk around your house naked (if you can). The reason why is because doing so will force you to become comfortable being naked with yourself in your own surroundings and therefore you will be more comfortable when you are with him.

Sounds wierd but I swear on my life it works!... If you don't believe me, try it.

There must have been a reason that he went out with you, and was attracted to you,in the first place... i dont know if you've heard but most men are driven by the way you look... no its true! :) which most probarbly means he cant wait to get the wrapping off.

If you are not comfortable you can do it with the lights turned down a little or with just a lamp on.. or you can get some sexy undies that will help you cover up the part you dont like but uncover the parts you need... but i think you need to raise your confidence with the way your body is.... im sure it will help you loads once the first time/new relationship sex has been gotten out of the way.

I'm about the same size and I honestly wouldn't say i'm fat! I know i'm not skinny, but think of the benefits...not so skinny girls have curves in ALLLL the right places, i know, i've been told many a time that i have a dynamite body. My ex is a squaddie and he couldnt get enough, he loved the fact that there was something to me and i wasnt just skin and bones with no boobs, no bum, and no hips.
Self confidence is something that has been a huge problem for me since i went into sixth form 2 years ago. BUT then i moved to Uni and i could be a new person. From day one i acted alot more confident than i felt inside and so many of my male mates have said how much sexier it makes me.
All i'm trying to say is act confident, and you will feel confident (Sorry i know its cliche) But it's so true. Be confident in how you look and he will be lapping it up.

The only thing you have to remember is the most sexy thing about a woman is her own confidence. If you got it, great, if you don't figure out what YOU need to do to get it. If you're not happy or comfortable with your own body there is a 4 word solution...... EAT LESS MOVE MORE. How you do that is up to you, but generally it works better with a trainer or at least a friend that can hold you accountable.

I am also a 14-16,don't worry about it.No-one has ever said on seeing me naked "I'm really sorry but you'll have to get dressed and go home" trust me it doesn't happen.If you like each other and are comfortable together it will be fine.I'm sure your new man would rather have a relaxed and comfortable woman than a skinny up tight wreck!

Don't get completely naked at first. Wear a sexy nighty.
Surely he has some idea of your being slightly overweight and doesn't have a problem with it.
You could also get naked in low lighting, give yourself time to get used him seeing all of you in the flesh.

Wouldn't have thought so, one of my exes was a size 14 and she had a blazing body that i loved getting hold of (wonder what shes doing these days?) where was i? oh yeah, if hes your new man he's well aware of your build so i doubt he even cares. Not everyone is so shallow to judge a person on size, even if a lot are.

Don't worry! Women look so much better with curves than when they look malnourished! Remember that Marilyn Monroe was a size 16 and she was one of the most beautiful and fancied women ever! If your new partner had wanted a stick insect he would have dated one - obviously he has given your body a look when he chose to go out with you :)
