Get your head out of the sand, dummy! The US is not interested in any other country except those that mean harm to it or it's allies who the US has an obligation to protect. If you mean other countries like Iran, N.Korea, Syria, Venezuela, I would be glad to explain each scenario, but I won't because you simply will not understand or will refuse to listen.
So, stay stuck on stupid and if you would like a better explanation, please re- phrase your question in a manner that makes it more palatable.

Nope. Sounds like you're one of a (thankfully) limited number of people who believe that. We did not start this war. The Taliban attacked us--twice; once in the 90s and once in 2001. The first time, the U.S. fought back and later withdrew. If America hadn't withdrawn, the Taliban likely wouldn't have attacked us again in 2001. If you want to live in squalor, go move to 3rd-world country. Most of us don't want to live in squalor, and that's likely what would have happened if America hadn't fought back. We would have been destroyed if we had stood with our hands behind our backs and said 'hit me again--I don't care.' Several cities in different states were attacked on 9/11. We would have been attacked again. Also, I wonder what went through your head that morning. Somehow, I doubt that you thought 'oh goodness, those poor people. Now Bush is going to destroy them and kill our family members and friends in the military. Why can't we just mind our own business and leave everyone else alone?' No, I'm quite certain that, like millions of other Americans, you were shocked, angry, upset, and/or feeling murderous. I'm quite certain that you were among those of us practically shaking with anger and maybe yelling 'just bomb the country--kill them all!' Bush did not start this war. He just sided with the American public, declared that we would fight back, and was strong enough to not back down when the public started protesting the war. Perhaps, you need to go research 9/11 and this war while you're online so that you can remember what we're fighting for and that we are right to be over there. Even our friends and family in the military don't want to pull out now. At least 3 commanders and non-commanders at this point have said that pulling out now would be an extreme betrayal and that they would do it if ordered to, but that they don't want to. Where were you when the world stopped turning?

If they continue to go unchecked they almost certainly will. They have elected themselves the world`s policeman, funny thing is I thought that was the UN`s job.
The trouble with American foreign policy is that it is one sided. It is alright for Isreal to build a Nuclear bomb on the sly, but the minute Iraq, Iran or North Korea try a stunt like that, the Yanks are out crying foul and talking about invasions. if it is good enough for the goose, it is good enough for the gander.
My recurring scenario for a major war starting is the Isrealis carry out some major invasion on a neighbouring state. There is widespread international condemnation, but as usual the US backs Isreal. The invaded state defends itself against the agressor, at which point the yanks say you can`t attack Isreal and launch themselves into a middle east conflict that could have been resolved by reigning in the Isrealis.

i've just read the other answers, and they're pretty tame considering the usual neo-con responses on Y!A.
what always astounds me though, when i read answers to questions like this, is the absolute brainwashing people have allowed to subject themselves to willingly. it is because of that, that ww3 is going to happen as a fact.... because as long as people choose to believe lies over reason, there will never be hope for peace.

Sure, I'm sure a lot of liberals think America will start WWIII. I don't. Isolationism has been a popular belief throughout this country's history and has almost never worked.

No, America will not start WW3, it will simply sell the munitions used, sit back and then come charging in at the end to claim some of the glory, if the world could survive WW3. But why would America want to start a global conflict, its bad for business, lots of lovely little dirty wars is far less risky, and more profitable.

We aren't going to start WW III. We're just going to sit back and watch the Muslims take over Europe and institute Sharia Law.

America does not start wars. They pick on small countries they think they can beat but when it comes to a full out war they only join if they really have to.Of course they then think that they win the war on their own without any help from anybody else
