For those who have not seen GEG's responses to questions and therefore do not know, GEG rarely answers the question asked, has an "attack" mode, and therefore doesn't encourage people to actually look at the info in his answer, which may occasionally be valid. But he is allowed to be an idiot, because this is an open forum asking for responses.
There are lots of GEGs, some not as hateful, some not as nice, and a lot of them get their kicks by being snarky to animal lovers. At least GEG has not dissed the animals themselves, just people.
I have more of an issue with the tons of bad answers from people who are guessing, especially when it comes to pet medical problems. I have seen responses on here from well-meaning dolts that could kill an animal.
So which is worse? After all, it's an open forum.....we have to take the good with the bad, and decide which is helpful.

Some of his answers are very good, but I don't think that there is any need to be rude to people asking for advice.
I was in the army and worked with German Shepherds for a long time before getting my own GSD's, I have kept them for over 30 years now and regard myself to be a dog lover and quite knowledgeable about them, but both myself and others are learning new things all the time, but when I read these rude comments it really saddens me, especially for the person who has posted the question hoping only for a bit of friendly advice, it must be like a slap in the face, we all have to start learning about something somewhere I started many years ago and if I can now help just one person to bring up a well behaved and happy dog whether it's a pedigree or a mongrel (I love them all) I will be a very happy person!

Option A works for me. Some people just like to get under the skin and irritate like crazy... and they think it's actually funny.
It's called "Answers" and the reason it's here is to help those with questions, period. If you don't have something good to contribute besides blatent insults and sarcasm, go find a forum to run amuck on instead. This rude behavior isn't helping someone who might need to learn something. Just cuz you think you know it all doesn't mean everyone else does, or has to for that matter. That's what this is for... to ASK QUESTIONS. The only stupid question is one that's never asked. This guy has no tact.

a) every answer I've seen form him so far has been a negative and abusive one.
not the sort of thing you want to read as an answer if your genuinely asking a question that worries you.
only after the points my friend!

Whatever you think of GitEmGang or anyone else, this is not the place for personal insults. You've already berated him on one of his questions, just leave it at that.
For what it's worth, sometimes I agree with him, sometimes I don't. The tone of his answers is often blunt, bordering on aggressive, but read them anyway - you might find he has a valid point.

You should be grateful for the small handful of knowledgable dog people on here. Without them it would be the blind leading the blind. Or the stupid leading the stupid, however you want to look at it.

Well, it seem you have a lot of extra time on your hands as well!!! A lot of time of repeated personal attacks too!!! At least you spelled it right this time!!!!!!!!!!!!
You would be better off learning more about dogs so you would not be the brunt of "mean" (truthful) answers. Then you would not have to spend So much time attacking someone who will only see humor in this and could care LESS!!!! LMFAO!!!!
Dog LOVING does not mean dog KNOWING. Otherwise people would not post dumb questions instead of doing some homework on their own......or LISTENING TO THEIR VET!!!!!!!!!
Thanks CH!!!!!! Looking forward to more of your questions!! Sorry I missed the others!!!!

I don't have a problem with him.
Then again, I don't want to know where I can find a "reputable breeder" of "pom-a-coc-a-labradoodle-Tzus". (I know no such breed exists)
I don't ask how long it is going to take my dog to have puppies after it has already been bred. (I know to have all my pets altered)
I don't want to know if I am considered a backyard breeder if I want to breed my peek-a-puggle-doos in order to make a quick buck. (I know not to add to the over population)
I don't ask...my dog is throwing up, bleeding from its rectum, and looks like it is going to die...what do I do? (Gee..anyone ever think of taking it to a VET??)
Nor do I ask how to make my Pitbull aggressive. The list could go on and on.
My point is...People just ask stupid questions. And when he tells them how it is, people get all bent out of shape. Life goes on...get over it!
