They were thin tubes, very small and hollow. They always got smashed up uin the bag, so you had to either lick your finger and dip it in our pour the bits into your mouth. They came in about 3 flavours and were cheap. They were around in the 1980's, I would love to know if anyone can find them now. Help I cant remember what they were called, maybe puffs of some sort?????

Glad some people remember them, are Burton's potato puffs the same ones? Been looking on the net and those only ones I can find, no tomato flavour there.

They were def Puffs, you can still buy them up here in Abdn my fav is beef+tomato, only drawback is that all the little bits get stuck under your nails, best thing to do is to just pour them into your mouth mmmmmmmm

Argh! I know exactly the ones you mean - I used to love them, but I can't remember what they were called for the life of me. They aren't Hula Hoops or Wheat Crunchies, though, they were longer, narrower and thinner than that which is why they broke so easily.
