i am taking it for neck pain from a pinched nerve and a hurnyated disc, and i lost the patient info sheet

Search out the word on the Internet, it will take you to a sponsored site that will give you patient information, you can also call the people who made your drug and have them email the fact sheet to you.
It is used for pain, bi polar, depression, migraines, a whole host of issues.
Most people seem to tolerate it very well,

Amitriptyline is a tricycilic antidepressant that can also be used for pain control.

It is also called Elavil...it's an anti-depressant and sometimes used for pain... but most people say it doesn't take the pain away, it just makes it so you don't care....
