last semester there was this girl in my 6th pd class. my friend knew her so, he unexpectedly introduced us to eachother. i said hi and she said hi taken in by the shock of it and talked to someone else quickly. the next day her friends and her were looking at me smiling and mentioned my name. my friend then told her that i liked her without my knowing. then we got switched around and was then seated next to her. i was to nervous to even talk to her so i didnt. she flirted with me alot and smiled looking at me and studying me. but the thing was she had bf,22 yrs of age and shes 17. they broke up over the summer. and when i approached her she lied and said she had a BF the same guy she said shed give me her number "later" and she avoided me the following week. d u think i had a shot or was she just playing?

I think shes playing with you. Girls some times do that to guys.

She is playing because your school is a playground. Your playing with your future as your piers and TV guide your way. The waves take you closer to the drowning pool. You want to have one hell of a ride, even if it ends at the bottom of a whirlpool. You want to be one hell-of-a-guy, even if it kills you! Is that correct?

Why not try getting yourself a good hearted girl that needs you more than this girl. One that is maybe short, fat or less desirable in varies ways. And don't take any shots at her until after the wedding.
Then distance yourself from destructive forces as you build a safe and secure future for your family.

This may sound dull by today's standards, but it pays off in the end if you manage to do it right, and you won't be so nervous!

I think she's just embarassed and shy. Give her some time and if she still doesn't come 'round, try to get over her. (Yeah, I know--it's HARD!!!) Let her make the next move. If she starts flirting again, try asking for her number again, and if she doesn't, then, yeah, it's time to move on.
