If you lose a job then move on and start looking for one that is better suited to you. When losing a person then it's proabably better to find some way to remember the person. In all kinds of loss it is advisable to remember that grief is normal and you will go through many stages. Get help from family, friends and any groups that you know of. Remember that people actually enjoy helping people through rough patches. Make new friends and go out...

There is no "quick cure" for either, most especially loss of a loved one. Doing something to memorialize them may help - plant a tree or shrub - donate to a charity they supported in their memory. But, it takes lots of time to get beyond the sadness.
For loss of a job, you can be more pro-active by getting into the search for a new job. That loss takes some time, too, as it is a blow to your self-esteem, but you can look for another job - one you might enjoy more.

I have suffered 3 losses to family members. I was the one who was alway's there for them and did what they needed but when the time comes you have to remember that they would have wanted you to go on with your life and not worry about what. You can only do so much.

no one can make u feel inferior without ur permission...youre the one who lives ur life. No one is responsible for ur happiness, sadness or sucess. No one but u!
No one grows old by living only by losing interest in living...
Other can stop u temporarily but only u can do it permenantly...

Two words - keep busy. Sounds too simple, but believe me it works. Idle minds mean trouble.
