Menopause?

She should definitely see the doctor with those symptoms

I'm so very bored with people declaring the menopause to be the reason for every single ailment.

This sounds to me as if your mother has a digestive problem and I suspect her colon is full. When the bowels do not work properly, the build up of waste in the colon causes toxic poisoning which causes bloatedness and hot/cold sweats. You are often totally unaware of this but the waste products aren't getting eliminated and all sorts of ailments occur. This often causes unexplained weight gain and she may find that inside her mouth is also different to normal - perhaps white and furry.

Remedy:
1. Laxatives - take Senna and Lactulose for a week to clean out the colon.
2. Detox.
3. Do a course of Probiotics to rebalance the good bacteria in the colon.
4. Take a digestive aid.

Has your mother recently taken Anti Biotics? I bet she has! They can cause this.

Hi there it sounds as if your mum is going through the change of life(menopause) which is not very nice at the best of times, she needs to go and see her Dr so that can get the help that she needs, but even if it's not she should still go anyway and get checked out

I have to agree. I feel the same symptoms as your mum and I believe it is menopause. How old is your mother and does she have any other symptoms? I also agree that perhaps she should see her doctor for a check-up and firm diagnosis. God be with your mum!

Menopause or otherwise known as "Time of Life". It can come on even if reasonably young, as its all to do with Hormones. Try to get her to go to the Doc' he/she may prescribe HRT or similar.

No sense in anybody guessing the problem, have her go see a doctor to find out for sure what it might be.
