Any major pharmacy will anve numerous wart removal remedies. If you can't find one suitable, just put a plain, unbuffered aspirin on top of the wart and band aid it in place. It may take a while, but the acetylsalicylic acid (aspirin) will eventually dissolve the wart.

Well there was/is something at Walgreen's, however, if you don't mind being patient then try putting a piece of duct tape over it for a 5 - 7 days. (if it gets nasty in between there then you can change it out) After you take it off on the 7th day, shower then take a finger nail file & buff it down some. Then repeat until it's gone. This might take a month or so, maybe no too long though if it's still pretty small. However, warts are viruses so don't use the fingernail file for anything else.

Im sure Walgreens had something for warts maybe you were looking in the wrong place, you should have asked someone who works there. There is a solution called Dr.Scholls wart removal. It works pretty good. But if your wart is stubborn and wont go away with wart solutions. Go see the doc, he can remove it for you with this type of stuff they have, they just have this liquid stuff (i forget what its called) and the doc will dip a long Q-tip type thing in the liquid and put it on your wart. Within 1-2 days it will dry up and fall off. But dont try and remove it yourself with the kind of tactics you used, now you can be at risk of infection, not good.

You didn't look very hard at Walgreens!!
Dr. Scholl's has been making wart removal stuff for eons.
A wart is caused by a virus. So careful not to spread it to others.
There are wart removal pads, creams, liquids. The best product is the new FREEZING agent in a can. This a small amount of what a dermatologist would use to remove a wart if you saw him. It is sold in most pharmacy's including Albertson's and Safeway.

There are several affordable over-the-counter products for getting rid of warts. You probably just didn't look hard enough.
NEVER pick a wart! It could get infected, or you might spread warts to other parts of your skin.
You could also see a doctor/dematologist for help in getting rid of your wart.
(Some people think that putting duct tape on a wart will make it go away, but this is a myth.)

Another home remedy is duct tape. I have never tried it myself, but people claim that putting duct tape over a wart and leaving it there, the wart goes away. There are a couple of different web site that will tell you this as well. Click on the site below.

Walgreen's likely had something, as would the Walmart pharmacy area. If you can't find something yourself, ask someone, even the pharmacist. They will talk to you and advise you on what works best.
Best Wishes,
Sue
