Had a shot of arestin(like Monocyclin) for dental work is it OK to have colonoscopy within 10 days?

I went to the periodontist today and had cleaning and since one pocket was large he gave me a shot of Arestin, (time released monocycline) I am scheduled for a colonoscpy of Nov, 30th, I know you are not supposed to have asperin the week before but what about antibiotics 15 days before. Thanks

Antibiotics have no effect on your colonoscopy. The Asprin effect is because if the colonoscopy 'scrapes' or minorly tears your bowel tissue you could bleed heavily. Therefore no aspirin or blood thinners one week before.
Antibiotics is fine.
