If you committed a crime, and it was stated in the law of the land you were living in that this crime was punishable by death, and you were convicted by a judge and jury of this crime and sentenced to death, then someone showed up and said they would take the punishment for you so that you could go free and live, would this be meaningful to you?
Would you find it meaningful to find out more about such a person? If it turned out that the person came back to life after taking your punishment, would you want to know him? Would you want to hang out with him?

In the beginning God sprinkled some magic dust on a rock he was holding then he through the rock out into the universe. This rock had everything needed for life to evolve and accomplish some mission that he assigned.
Here we are many billion years later and we are asking what is the meaning of life, this is because we are on the verge of understanding that our connection to Gods intention is stored inside us, under our fear anger and desire. Very few people ever look inside themselves as it is not a trustworthy source, you go crazy....lol...it is easier to be empty and accept the beliefs we are taught.
Our purpose is to evolve,
our present struggle is to simply live together without harming each other, using forgiveness and compassion.
later we will understand that this connection will be powerful, can you imagine a united world with one goal in common, we could do anything imaginable....
When you die you stand there looking at the physical realm, usually uncertain what happened, then spend some time evaluating their life, sometimes this is horrible,,,,others it is ecstasy, then you reincarnate and do it again.... we all do it until humanity is evolved to unity of mind and non-judgment,,,,,,, basically unified love and respect where we mutually understand our mission,,,,

Meaning of life - reproduce. I believe we're no more important than bacteria in the whole scheme of things and as far as we are concerned are only purpose is to reproduce in order that the universe might contine.
I believe in the possibility of life after death until i'm shown evidence that there is not.

What is the purpose of life? To glorify God, and be obiedient and fulfill what he has planned for you.
Why are we here? Same as above, God has a plan for all of us, but if we don't obey Him and build a relationship with Him, then we can't follow His plan.
is there life after death? There is freedom, everlasting life in Heaven, or eternal bondage in Hell.
is there anything after death? Same as above.

What is the meaning of life? Being, I guess. Yes, I do believe the meaning of life is simply being you and taking the journey to discover exactly what being you means. It is my belief that the Divine created other beings to help it quantify what IT was and what it was not. So as we discover more of what were are, so too does the Divine.
