You know how most fruitcake is...no one likes it! I would love to have a recipe for one that actually tastes good. I would prefer one without the candied fruits if possible and fresh fruits instead. I had one years ago that was made with orange slices and maraschino cherries instead of the candied fruit and it was really good. Thanks!

Try the food network, but you'll still be using it as a doorstop as we do with the ones we get for Christmas..........Never met a fruitcake that had any real merit to it.......and that candied crap in it???? Whoever came up with fruitcake was a real "fruitcake"
