Need: Cardboard, sparkling yarn or metalic thread, dowel

Directions: Cut shapes from cardboard to fit in with the days bible story theme. Cut small slits around each shape, each approx. 1/4"-1/2" apart. Begin wrapping the shape with sparkling yarn or metallic thread. Use the slits to hold the yarn in place. Punch a hole in the top of each figure and tie the shape to a 12"long dowel with yarn attached to both ends to make a hanger (or use metal coat hanger). http://www.preschooleducation.com/agod.shtml

weave paper, it would be like long strips and that gets the whole over under idea and in the end it is like a woven mat. also i was a little older in grade school like sixth grade, but we had to make our own loom with a styrofoam meat tray and then weave with yarn. The paper is way easier though and use two different colors so they can see the difference.
