Because *experts* in the beauty industry who feel like they have a say on what's trendy and what's not, think that flat hair styles are easy to manage, easy to style, and chic. Next season .. who knows. If I lived my life on what was the >now trend<.. good lord, I'd be a mess! Trends constantly change. Just find a look that's right for you, something you can maintain that doesn't require a lot of styling.

Some "big" hair styles are coming back but yes, the 8 inch high wave that some of us used to wear in the 90s is out!

umm... having hair uber straight tends to make it look thinner...if thats in then thin IS in.

I have no idea why girls are straightening their hair. I have very thick, wavy hair, so that look never works for me.
