My friend Mandy had a stomach bug. She didn't feel real well on Monday, but she went to school anyway, Then Tuesday she woke up not feeling good. She ate her breakfast and about two hours later she vomited and she vomited 2 more times after that.
I wasn't around her alot in school on Monday and I wasn't around her at all over the weekend. Do you think I will catch this stomach bug? Tell the truth please. :]

I am just the same as you.. Scared of being sick and catching a bug.. Were you near her Tuesday? In my experience you are more likely to catch the bug if you were with her at the time she vomited. To keep bugs at bay eat healthily and be hygienic at all times ie wash your hands often and don't put them in your mouth unnecessarily. I used to get myself in a real panic if anyone I knew vomited, in fact I am sure that I used to make myself ill with all the worry. Let me just reassure you with this thought. I have only ever been properly sick (vomit) 5 times in my life and the last time was 20 years ago!!!

It depends on how the "bug" is transmitted from one
to another. If it is an airborne virus then yes you could
catch it. If you must come in physical contact with
someone infected with the virus then I would say no.
Just increase your vitamin dosage and was your hands often. Eat healthier and dress well.

If she got the bug through food poisoning, you won't get it from her. Any chance she may be pregnant ? If it's some other type of bug, I reckon you would have shown symptoms by now

not all stomach illness are contagious. If she had a stomach virus, then yes it is possible you can catch it. But if she just ate some bad food, then you won't catch that.

Geez, do your homework or something and stop wasting our time. If you get sick, then puke it up and be done with it. What a meaninglesslife you must have to post triffles like that.

Hmm, but then why do I even waste my time replying to such trash. Guess I need to get a life too.
