There really isn't an age when they stop wearing them to bed, it's just whenever they can wake up with a dry one.

My children are 7 and 4, I used to leave their nappies off during the day at home, and pop one of the pull ups on at night time. (easier to go to the toilet). Because during the day they were dry, they became aware that they needed to go to the toilet in the night. She will gradually become aware when she needs to go and stop using the nappy. Please buy waterproof sheets, at first I found that the square ones from Boots etc. were easier , as they can be removed from the bed when damp with less fuss than the elasticated ones. For now I would leave her with a nappy at night, until she is dry more regularly, as wet pyjamas and a wet bed can be unsettling. Give her lots of praise, and you'll both get there, it won't seem so difficult with the next child.
Good luck.

I used cloth nappies during the night - as long as they dont get a drink last thing at night, they dont get too wet, and they also can feel that they are wet.

But expect to at least wait until 3-4 yrs for night time drying. Best thing to do is not to expect too much to soon.

Some nights you will get dry, then others soaking wet. When they have colds and flu expect more toileting accidents.

I waited and am waiting with my second till the nappies are dry in the mornings, its good that they wake up for the toilet, at least shes learning, but i'd keep it on for a bit longer!

She is very young to attempt this, unless she is potty trained already (during the day time) I should just view it as a positive sign that she's on her way to becoming dry. If you want to brave it, I'd invest in a waterproof matress cover and ensure that the last thing she does before she sleeps and the first thing she does when she wakes, is to use the loo. Don't make a big deal about mistakes, practice makes perfect!

When she's waking up with a dry nappy she'll be ready to sleep without one.

Put her down without a nappy, and get her up to go to the loo when you are going to bed.

In the morning, make sure you are on hand for a trip to the loo first thing.

Good luck.

i think thats great...the sooner you potty train them the better it will be... but yea i would put her to sleep without her "nappy" and then wake her up late that night... get her used to this routine and eventually she will be doing it on her own..of course not right away but you as a mother know things take time..lol good luck
