MSN news reports George Clooney voted sexiest man alive. Has any poor man ever been voted "sexiest man alive?" If not why?

no , because in reality he isn't sexy at all.. he is just an average Joe shmoe .. i don't know why people make such a hype

No one notices poor men, not even the sexy ones. Sad, but true. But George Clooney really is gorgeous. Even I have to admit that. Of course, I'd adamantly opposed to the Sexiest Person Alive contests — they make no mention of the person's talent as a performer, or any other redeeming quality that isn't purely aesthetic.

Because a poor man couldn't afford to get his teeth capped or his hair pegged. He couldn't eat right, and exercise well, and dress with class. Healthy is sexy.
Big Ideas, intelligible speech and appropriate action are sexy.
A homeless guy could have great genes, and have good "features, but part of being sexy is self-respect, self-care, and confidence. Part is having good clothes, and carrying oneself well, and having all your body parts intact.
Every homeless guy I have ever seen smells like urine, rotten food, and dog-poop. They have a few teeth, and filthy hair. Their clothes are a wreck and stink. They smoke, drink, and fall down. They mumble and beg, dive in dumpsters, and stagger around. They shout at birds. The only IDEA they have is how to get to the park without spilling their beer.
Not MY idea of a "hottie."
You could start a new trend: do makeovers for bums, take their photos, and do a "sexiest Tramp alive" contest.
A calendar!
It could be a hit!( I want royalties.)

No, he wouldn't be voted that if he was homeless. The only reason he's been voted sexiest man alive is because he is famous. Most homeless people are not famous. How can you vote for them if you have no idea who they are?

a.) poor people don't get the coverage so most people don't know they exhist..where as good luck finding people who don't know who clooney is..
b.) and depending on how homeless we are talking.. i mean, someone living on the street unable to afford food, shower, hygeine and whatnot would probably not be considered sexy..

No. I want someone who is productive to our society and if he's not, as a homeless would not be, then he would not be sexy in my eyes.
