I miss not being able to talk to my husband everyday and tell him about my day and him telling me about his day and just being together.

In the last four years, i've only been with my husband about five months of it all between a deployment to Iraq, two years in Japan, etc. My husband is my best friend and no matter the situation he can always make me laugh. We have so much fun together, even if it is just on the phone, but when he's gone I miss being able to see him smile.

I miss the relative peace of mind knowing that my Sailor is safe. At any moment, that life may be over. It has only just begun damit!

I would give ANYTHING to hear that truck pull into the driveway, keys jingling in the front door, and a hello, I'm starving!

Anything at all.
