What is the deal with legal nursing? You see the ads in the back of the nursing magazines all the time. It's like a 6-12 week course and they say you can make up to 100,000/year working from home. Does anybody do it or know someone who does? Any info would be helpful. Thanks. (I am an RN)

You work independantly and are hired by a law firm to go over medical records to determine if the patient was not treated correctly like in a nursing home. Say if someone dies in a nursing home and the family want to sue the home. You take the records home and are paid so much an hour to determine errors made by nursing staff. It has nothing to do with working in a country where you would be in danger.I have done this in the U.S. and worked in the law office or in my home.

I don't know, it sounds scary, if they are willing to pony up that kind of money, you will be working in a country where you are likely to be kidnapped or killed.
I was offered a job doing just that in a country of where my brother was working at a nucular station right off the coast. He was not allowed to go on land because the chance of him being kidnapped was so great.
Be very careful from anything that promisses something that sounds too good,it is most always a lie or comes with strings attached that will unravel you later.
God Bless
