It's been there for a long time. I'm male, 22 years old. I tried calamine lotion and it seemed to help but didnt eliminate the stuff. I'm not even sure if it's acne or not. I'm a vegetarian, no mean (including fish) or eggs. Help? Something that works fast/ or as fast as possible.

I am a pharmacy tech in new york. If the acne has been a problem there are a few medicines that can help. Antibiotics mostly that you need a script for. Also, it is important to maintain good hygiene. If the problem is your back then make sure that you wear a clean shirt everyday and change your shirt every time your back gets sweaty. also, you can try using an over the counter cleanser like clean and clear with 1% salicylic acid and use a loofah on a stick to cleanse your back in the shower. Hope this helps

I know someone who used Alpha-hydroxy cleansers and it cleared up the acne on her chest. However, if you aren't sure it is acne...go to a dermatologist to make sure.
