He's my cousin and I have not exactly a crush but I am like so attracted to him and we always like hit on eachother and I think he's hot and he's bluntly implied that I am to.
But yea I am so attracted to him but I know nothing can come of it cuz he is my cousin. I kinda want to get over it but I kinda don't.
So I guess I am just asking for people's opinions. Lol

Lots of people are attracted to their cousins when they are young. But you are right--it can't go anywhere, so it'll just always be a bittersweet memory of what could have been. Look elsewhere for a real boyfriend.

I know a lot of people won't like this answer, but there is actually nothing incestual about cousins getting together - depending on the relationship between the parents. If you truly like this cousin of yours, spend the time to do the research on how 'close' you really are. For example, I can date my uncle's daughter on my mom's side, but I can't if it's my aunt's daughter (at least I think that's how it works). If you guys are far apart enough on the bloodlines, then the only problem you will have is the strange looks you'll get at family gatherings....

First off, how old are the two of you? How closely related are you? Like 3rd cousins, 20th cousins? After some number it doesn't really count.. Although it could cause some issues in the family...but I don't know your family so I couldn't say. I would really sit down and have a talk with him. Find out more information. Good luck.

You should get over it as soon as possible! Figure out what you are attracted to and look for it in someone else. Is it a part of his personality or his body type? The color of his eyes...
whatever you like about him write down and when you have finished your list you can start looking for someone with the same or many of the same qualities. Then you will be able to do something about the feelings you have with the unrelated person and your feelings for your cousin should die down and return to what they are supposed to be.

3 people in my family married 1st cousins years ago and the kids didn't turn out retarded. the bottomline is that it's not an acceptable practice. i wouln't go there if i were you. there's too many fish in the sea.
