I'm so glad that I stopped and read your question. . . . ..and then these not so promising answers. Well dear, you will find your answer in Matthew 5:10-11. But go ahead and read all of chapter 5, it's more than inspiring. And forget about all the complainants that falsely claim that you're "shoving your religion down their throat". I've seen that 'answer' sooooo many times and almost always it's only used to SILENCE the word of God. You wouldn't believe how many times people simply say anything Christian. .. . . and then the Hate-Wagon rolls in and suddenly non-Christians are making that false claim. But back to Matthew.. ..do yourself a boat-load of good and read it. Feel free to email me at any time. Rest assured, you're not wrong for trying.

Why the need to "parade" your faith? If someone wants to become Christian, they know where to find you guys. Everyone knows what Christianity teaches and whether or not they want to accept them or not. So why do you find it necessary to go around essentially saying "That decision that you've made to reject the Bible is wrong; here, look at it MY way, which is the RIGHT thing to do"? You have to respect the fact that some people just feel differently.

And cut it out with the "missionary" thing -- no offense, but "missionaries" often come across as more irritating than anything, especially to people who don't belong to that particular religion. You wouldn't really accomplish much with that kind of approach.

Come to Satan, my child! Give yourself to Him and come to know the TRUTH about your existance. Rebirth yourself in the Baphometic Fire. The light of our Lord Lucifer is the ONLY way for you to free yourself from slavery! Find wisdom in the serpent and surrender to Leviathan.

Now - how did you like me sharing the love and salvation of MY savior so others could be saved, too? I want to be a Missionary for my Lord, too. You think you get blasted when you witness? LOL! Someone of my faith couldn't witness like that unless we wanted to receive death threats.

But I don't share specifics of my religion unless someone asks because, let's be honest - it's polite. To be fair - I've seen a LOT of Muslims blasted on Answers for parading their religion.

I'm hoping this post kinda turned the tables. How you might view what I said in the first paragraph - may be how someone views your witnessing and preaching, too.

I get tired of the media (news,.etc.) telling me what I should think about and event, happening ect. They really seem to be stuck on the idea that the general population has no idea what to think unless they tell us....THE DUMBING OF AMERICA....freedom of speech and freedom of the press is the answer. If the media has the right...then so to should Christians and non-Christians have the right to speak their beliefs.....what people really do not seem to understand you do have the right to politely say I do not want to listen to you....after giving that a try then you may be harder on that individual or group...but do not bunch all together.....that is just prejudice.

Because more often than not, Christianity is virtually a punch in the face, it's demeaning and it's practitioners seem to think that they sit on a pedestal above everyone else. Not that this is actually the case, but this is the way that is appears to most people, and this does not do anything to help the Christian cause.

People get tired of it after awhile. And some Christians ruin our name by being hateful while they try to "convert " others.
What you have to have in mind( if you feel the need to bring others to Christ) is that yelling at people and judging them does you not a bit of good.We are all human.Sweet and humble is the attitude that usually keeps people from yelling at you to shut up.When they see that you are respecting their thoughts and feelings towards life, they will want to return the favor and respect yours!

Please put the martyr robe away. Homosexuality is not a religion, its just the way people were born. They have a right to talk about it. I don't want anyone (Muslim, Jew, Christian, Zoroastrian etc.) trying to convert me. I have repeated myself on this topic several times to Christians with similiar "questions" but if you are really trying to convert people you might want to lighten up on the irritating persecution complaints.

Hi, I am a Christian and I think that we do more talking than real Christian action, words can knock down as well as build up and much of our talk is too hard hitting, when non-believers are concerned, by your example shall you be known.
less talk more compassionate action, that might work.

If you live in the the United States it's probably because most Americans have heard it 100 times already and are a bit sick of it.
