We have been hanging out (I mean like sometimes 10 hours at a time ) but our hangs out always end with "hugs" for about 1 month, I said finally lets go out on a "date" now what, it is on Friday and I am so nervous . . . .

Don't change anything but the ending. It sounds like you have an awful lot in common and ejoy each other's company, which is the best way to start a relationship.
Just end the night with a kiss, instead of a hug.

Relax find something nice to wear and have a good time. First of all you are friends so act like you are just hanging out with your friend.
