~This is a complementary query to "Who past or present would be the most POSITIVE representation of Christianity (besides Jesus, apostles)", which is a separate question posted simultaneously with this one.~

The question before you: Who in your opinion would be the most *NEGATIVE* representation of Christianity? For non-Christians, I'm adding on: "besides Jesus or his contemporaries".

Unfortunately there are many more candidates for the most negative representation of Christians. Obvious ones would be anyone who wages war in the name of God, being that it is clearly stated not to kill others or that oppresses any other human thinking that their beliefs make them superior. As you can imagine the list is long for this trophy... From Spanish Conquistadors to Nazi's to the Protestant and Catholic's in Ireland. Hate is the opposite of the message of Christianity, love and forgiveness.

The Pope during Galileo's telescope discoveries. He said that it did not matter what one actually saw through the spyglass which Galileo shared with him, but that all that mattered was what the Pope decided that people should know.

You can add on all you like, but Jesus was the worst. He defied the Jewish prophecies regarding HaMasiach, yet let it continue uncontested.

His immediate disciples were the eleven runners up.

Judas was the only open-eyed one of the group.
