Do we have the power to shape our lives, or are we predestined to be who we are? If our Fate is but one amongst many, then whose life, if anyone's, is real? If our lives are indeed the sum-total of the choices we've made, then we cannot change who we are. But with every new choice we're given, do wo change who we're going to be

Pre-destiny is the excuse given by folks who fail on a regular basis.

Our choices shape who we are, and we always have the chance to improve our lives by making different choices. Fate and Destiny are false gods that will limit the kind of people we can be if we permit it.

Fate, 100%. There is no free will. The end of the visible universe was set in stone in the very moment of the beginning of that visible universe. We make choices all the time, but so do computers.

Yeah.

Our fate is in fact chosen by society and our parents. If there was no religion in the world, we would be born w/o it.

Our parents and environment influence and determine what we are, unless we decide ourselves to not have any fate in any religion whatsoever.

Fate is the fact that what you will do can't be changed, because your choices will never change, there is no magic wand that allows you to change any decision you will ever make.

But, you have free will to make those decisions.

You have the power to shape your life. There are many examples of this in small scale, every day around you. You choose wether-or-not you have road rage, right? You choose to take the stairs instead of the elevator, right?
We all choose our direction.

we all have the choice to do what we want but what's to say that those very same choices and the ones we make aren't already predestined?
