Depends on the person, but for me, all my dogs that I had in my life were great dogs. However, I think that English Bulldogs are really cute dogs. If they are trained properly, they can become very smart dogs. As they age, they still remain cute. They are really cute dogs when they are pups. Everytime I see a picture of a English Bulldog pup, I keep thinking to myself, someday I'll buy one. They cost too much for me at this point in my life, but they are in my opinion the cutiest dogs. Another reason that will stop me from buying one is; I haven't came up with a good name for one that will match a bulldog's personality.

My little Shmoo dog, she is a Pomeranian and only weighs 4-1/2 pounds but she is always there for me and never complains about anything and greets me every day with her tail waggin and a little kiss.

It depends on your life style. for example, Paris Hilton worshipers would want a chihuahua. Hunters would want a Labrador, people with not much money would want a papillon, people with golden hearts would want a mutt from the pound.

I am partial to mutts, specifically the kind you adopt or rescue. It is like they know how you saved their little lives! Also, mutts are more even tempered and less prone to all the nasty disorders that purebreds get. That being said, my mutt is the best mutt around!

His name was Maverick. He lived 1991-2006. He was a Chow/Border Collie mix and my soulmate.
