i think that this guy is really hot but i don't exactally know him. he a grade below me (im in 8th grade). i know that he is nice though because my friend kind of knows him. im tired of sitting around not doin anything about but i don't know what to do.

Talk to him. Become his friend, first of all. And you can alaso learn stuff about him in the same time! Then if you think you're really interested in him, go for it.

HONEY how will you know until you try you have to talk to him. If your friend knows him it's a one way ticket just to see him and talk to him. When ever your friend is around him and your there to, talk to him to be his friend, ask him some questions like do you have a girlfriend? in a casual conversation that way when you become cool and friends with him he might start to like you. When the time comes you tell your friend to say to him that you like him and see what he says.( you have to plan this kind of things) And if he turns you down don't be sad you'll probably start liking someone else or just forget about him after.(IT DOESN'T MATTER IF HE'S IN A LOWER GRADE AS YOU IT'S LIKE GOING OUT WITH A 25YR OLD AND YOUR 23 UNLESS HE WAS IN THE 6TH GRADE NOW THATS ANOTHER STORY)PLEASE ANSWER MY QUESTION MY NAME IS jessica t.AND DON'T BE SURE THAT YOU LIKE HIM WHEN YOU GET TO KNOW HIM.

honey dont worry and relax!
life is to have run and not to stress out and do nothin!
have fun, take risks maybe he does not like you, but i am sure he does!
i know a friend who went out with a boy the grade under, so dont worry about that!
and then use your friend to get really close to him not like a best friend thing but as a lover, carefull! dont fall in love with him unless if you want to take the risk of breaking your heart!
when you think you are close enough and when you have this sensation that he likes you too tell your frind to tell him "accidently"
that you like him and ask her what he aswered...
that works like this you dont get risks just in front of your face then if its positive go and ask him out honey dont wait until he does, because maybe he is kind of the shy guy and does wait a long long time!
so you go girl!
take your chances and have fun in life becaue life is made for YOUR happiness and nothing else, enjoy high school coz later on you will have nothing left!

He probably knows you're interested in him, so he'll expect you to approach him - guys that age aren't going to come up to YOU. So how about you do an opinion survey - say, about some aspect of the school that needs attention - better gym, bigger play area, iPods at recess - whatever - then you can ask lots of people for their opinion, and of course HIM.

Just go up to him one day and say "hey, I think my friend knows you and I just wanted to say hi." Then you can start a conversation from there. If you are too shy, find out where his locker is and put a note in it.
