homemade DVD's - no bootlegging ; )
booze
the guys i sent to loved movies, footballs, baseballs, frisbee's
slippers & flip flops
microwave food (if they have access)
french press coffee pot & starbucks ( if they have a microwave handy)
playing cards
books & comics
chips and other munchies
hand sanitizer
wetwipes - for body and thoes for the behind ; )
good socks
wash cloths
twin sheets
pillow cases
(with the wash cloths andsheets -- wash them first and put extra fabric softner - they enjoyed smelling like home - i'd also put a dryer sheet in with the package)
SNAIL MAIL -- email is quick but it's nothing like getting aletter and being able to walk andhave a moment of private time. i would cut articles out of magazines - from fishing and hot rods to reader digest jokes and such and mailthem off a few at a time.
