Jehovah's Witnesses teach that no salvation occurs without Christ, that accepting Christ's sacrifice is a requirement for true worship, that every prayer must acknowledge Christ, that Christ is the King of God's Kingdom, that Christ is the head of the Christian congregation, that Christ is immortal and above every creature, even that Christ was the 'master worker' in creating the universe! Both secular dictionaries and fairminded theologians acknowledge that Jehovah's Witnesses are a Christian religion.

Rather than quoting from such trinitarian sources as philosophy, Greek mythology, and quotes from other Babylon-loving Trinitarians, Jehovah's Witnesses believe that the Scriptures alone quite plainly demonstrate that Jesus and the Almighty are separate distinct persons, and the Almighty created Jesus as His firstborn son.

(Colossians 1:15) the firstborn of all creation

(Mark 10:18) Jesus said to him: 'Why do you call me good? Nobody is good, except one, God.

(Revelation 3:14) the Amen says, the faithful and true witness, the beginning of the creation by God

(Philippians 2:5-6) Christ Jesus, who, although he was existing in God's form, gave no consideration to a seizure, namely, that he should be equal to God

(John 8:42) Neither have I come of my own initiative at all, but that One sent me forth

(John 12:49) I have not spoken out of my own impulse, but the Father himself who sent me has given me a commandment as to what to tell and what to speak

(John 14:28) I am going my way to the Father, because the Father is greater than I am

(1 Corinthians 15:28) But when all things will have been subjected to him, then the Son himself will also subject himself to the One who subjected all things to him

(Matthew 20:23) this sitting down at my right hand and at my left is not mine to give, but it belongs to those for whom it has been prepared by my Father

(1 Corinthians 11:3) I want you to know that the head of every man is the Christ; ...in turn the head of the Christ is God

(John 20:17) I am ascending to my Father and your Father and to my God and your God.

(Deuteronomy 6:4) Jehovah our God is one Jehovah

(1 Corinthians 8:4-6) There is no God but one. For even though there are those who are called "gods," whether in heaven or on earth, just as there are many "gods" and many "lords," there is actually to us one God the Father

The Holy Bible states there is only one true God. The New World Translation also states this. However, the NWT states at John 1:1 that Word (Jesus) was "a God ", a complete perversion of the actual Greek text that the Word was God. Jehovah's Witnesses then must believe that Jesus is a false god since their is only one true God,Jehovah, right?

He is the son of God.

JESUS called God "the only true God." (John 17:3) Never did he refer to God as a deity of plural persons. That is why nowhere in the Bible is anyone but Jehovah called Almighty. Otherwise, it voids the meaning of the word "almighty." Neither Jesus nor the holy spirit is ever called that, for Jehovah alone is supreme. At Genesis 17:1 he declares: "I am God Almighty." And Exodus 18:11 says: "Jehovah is greater than all the other gods."

Jesus, to us, JWs, is the only Son of the true God, his Father Jehovah. (John 17:3). He is the Christ/Messiah and was sent by the Father as a Savior for many. We don't believe that Jesus is the Almighty God, although we believe he was assigned as Mighty God (Isa 9:6 - in future tense, will /shall) . We believe that exercising faith in him and the Father will help us have everlasting life. Jesus is a Divine being, a Mighty One (John 1;1) and Jesus Father is Jehovah whom the Bible calls the God of gods (Deut 6:4). That's why Jesus called his Father, "MY God".

You say a little or small god? Consider one of the common references made by people who believe in the trinity that the Word (the pre-existence of Christ) was a mighty god. They say this is proof that he is God, but that is not what it says. It says he is a mighty god, not an Almighty God. Never is the Word or Christ ever referred to as an Almighty God. Look up any reference to mighty god and you find it means receiving its power and existence from an Almighty God.

Buy an Interlinear Greek Translation of the New Testament from any Bible Book store. Look up the common scripture referred to in John about the Word being (a) god. Notice how god is spelled by the Apostle John in Greek. Now look up every time he uses the word god in his writing. He spells it four different ways. He never uses the same spelling in reference to the Word as (a) god and in reference to Almighty God. He does use the same spelling for the word god in reference to the Word, to Satan, and to men who are (a) god. So, if the Word should shown as God, than should it also be the same way with Satan and men?

I hope this helps:

(Romans 15:4-6) . . .” 4 For all the things that were written aforetime were written for our instruction, that through our endurance and through the comfort from the Scriptures we might have hope. 5 Now may the God who supplies endurance and comfort grant YOU to have among yourselves the same mental attitude that Christ Jesus had, 6 that with one accord YOU may with one mouth glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.

To us Jehovah is the the God and Father.

Lord means "master",

Jesus is our Lord or Master, the one Jehovah has anointed ( the meaning of Christ) to be King of His Kingdom.

1 Cor 8:6, One God the Father, one Lord Jesus

The only-begotten Son of God, the only Son produced by Jehovah alone. This Son is the firstborn of all creation. By means of him all other things in heaven and on earth were created. He is the second-greatest personage in the universe. It is this Son whom Jehovah sent to the earth to give his life as a ransom for mankind, thus opening the way to eternal life for those of Adam’s offspring who would exercise faith. This same Son, restored to heavenly glory, now rules as King, with authority to destroy all the wicked and to carry out his Father’s original purpose for the earth. The Hebrew form of the name Jesus means “Jehovah Is Salvation”;
