It depends on how old you are. My parents could never make grounding stick after I was 12-13. Just leave anyway. What are they going to do?

lol, well since i dont know how bad the situation is and what your grounded from..
You clean your room ( and possibly the house) .. make sure you do a good job. And be very nice to your parents for about a day or so.. And then ask if you can be ungrounded.. If it doesnt work you must havve some pretty strict rents.

1. Stop screwing up so you won't get grounded in the future.
2. Be a man and accept your punishment instead of trying to wiggle out of it. You are paying for a decision that either you do not regret and should be willing to accept the consequences for, or that you do regret and now need to learn not to do again. That is the best advice I can give you. Decide what you believe and do the right thing (which could be either).

Be good, dont get mad, clean the house - or a small portion of the house maybe just 2 rooms. Dont complain about your grounding either. And then ask at dinner or at a time when your family is in a good mood if you can be ungrounded because your truly sorry for what you did. thats what i do - ALWAYS WORKS!
