I've been witht this guy 20 days and I've let him make the first couple of moves like holding hands and kissing but he's really shy so should I let him make the next move as well?

GO AHEAD AND YOU MAKE THE MOVE THIS TIME. I ALSO LIKE IT WHEN THE GUY MAKES THE FIRST MOVE, BUT SOMETIMES YOU HAVE TO GET THEM OUT OF THEIR SHYNESS. GOD LUCK !!!

If you went shopping with your parents and knew they would buy you something if you just asked for it, wouldn't you ask for it? Would you just stand by and wait? If they never did ask you because they had something else on their minds or simply because they could not read your mind, and did not know what you wanted, would you just sit there and be sad?

It's the same thing in relationships! It doesn't matter who is the male and who is the female, who "should" make the first move or what is "proper" - if you want something, go get it! If you keep letting him do things, and you just stand by he might get bored and leave - and he would have the right too.

There are two people in a relationship. We are not in the 1950's anymore, all the things that your mother did are out of date.

In this day and age you can make the first first move...go for it but don't go too fast for him either.....it's not who leads but where the journey takes you both!
