Pain Presciption question...?
Which drug is better (stronger, more pain relief), Oxycodon or hydrocodon?? Just so you know I had surgery on tailbone, pretty uncomfortable????!!
oxycodon=325mg
hydrocodon=500mg

Personally, I would recommend OxyContin. I had to take Hydrocodone on several different occasions (after surgery and after very painful car accident) and it did not work very well at all. So, if you have a choice, I'd choose OxyContin.

However, they are both VERY, VERY addictive, so you should only take them when you absolutely have to.

Well they are both extremely addictive drugs. And it depends on your body. Every drug works differently with each person. Hydrocodone is also called Vicoden and does not work for everyone. What has your doctor prescribed you for the pain and discomfort?? It's usually best to check with your doctor before taking anything. However, I did find some information for you to research on your own.

They're both addictive, take which everone will get you through the pain.
