i just started home skooling and i only see my friends in the summer but theres this guy who sticks out in my mind i miss him a whole lot i dont think i love him but im not sure im scared before i left we hung out all the time we were best friends i have really never thought about him any other way besides friends but now im not sure what i feel im 14 its not a crush because i've had crushes and it dosent feel like that please help im kind of scared

No, you aren't in love. You are just getting older and feeling things you never felt before. This guy is probably a nice guy, whose friendship you enjoy. You are naturally thinking about guys and since you are homeschooled, you don't have quite as much contact with guys now, and maybe feeling a little insecure about that.
You might like him and he might like you, but try to remember that even though the emotions are real, they need to be controlled for quite a few more years. It might grow into love, or it might not. For now, just enjoy it as a friendship and divert your thoughts. Join a sports team. Write a story. Learn a musical instrument.
