Have you ever noticed that children lie, cheat, and steal as soon as they are physically able? Where does this come from? No parents teach their kids these things.

Biblical it is said that we All are born into sin and no one is righteous not one. I've noticed that my 2 year old does things out of fear and to test me to see how far can he go if I don't discipline or teach him the right way. Great question!

Shalom

Wrong Answer, Parents lie to there kid's, maybe not to cause harm, maybe to protect them or to discourage them from something, but they do.
Now, Children pick this up naturally by gut feeling or flat out catching the parents in a lie.
And yes some are afraid of getting into trouble or want to impress friends etc, but yes they are taught somehow someway.
And in answer to your question about babies being born pure, no, all are born sinners but can be purified with the blood of the Lamb
At least that is what my church taught me.

We are all born with a sin nature inherited from Adam. It is part of our spiritual nature, part of the soul. This is what we need saving from---the taint of sin. This is why Jesus died for us on the cross so that we could be spiritually washed in his shed blood and be free from the penalty of sin which is eternal death. All that a person must do is accept Jesus as Lord and Savior and he is washed in the blood. This is not a license to sin, but a new beginning in Christ. Children that die before the age of accountability, before they are clearly able to discern from right and wrong immediately go to heaven. And incidentally, parents do teach their children do commit crimes and children do learn by watching their parent sin. The behavior you see going on in a small child is the natural rebellion of the sin nature and must be brought in line, else the child will grow up to be a criminal.

Babies / Children are ALL innocent, as they are not capable of making decisions, therefore cannot choose evil over good. All babies are innocent. Once they can make decisions (usually around the age 6 /7 or 8) is when they can begin to lose their innocence.

Each of those "bad" things, or "sins" you mention require intent, and true intent requires an understanding of both the law/sin and the reprecussion involved in the breaking of those laws. A baby does not obtain the faculties to reason and use logic, but is in reactive and mimic mode. Babies are born innocent, they do not intend to do evil or sinful acts, that is just an err in perception.

Children are born pure and innocent, yet they do have original sin on them which was set by God.
we must remember that they are curious and this tends to make them try things although it may be forbidden , look at Adam and Eve kids have the same pattern we must do our best to teach and reprimand before those bad deeds become habits.

Babies are pure and innocent. Children only know what they are taught. You'd be surprised what a child picks up whether or not the parent meant for them to or not.

Children are born sinners because sin is a state of being as well as an action. We are sinners because that is the state we are in, babies included.

When you are born you are a sinner, for you start to die and you Die because of sin, and you are imperfect because you came from something imperfect, even though you might not have broken any laws but you were born of sin so to speak

BUT GOD judges you on your life and what you know and did not know and your actions, so i am asumming that a new born would go to heaven

We are all ALREADY saved form JC"S sacrifice, but what we do with that atonement is up to us
