Dear Mr. Simmons,
this is the 3rd one of your questions i've answered- today. Dude, the more i read, the more i am convinced this guy is part of a cult. First of all we all know there are so many churches that believe in God and teach the Bible so for this person to claim that- is very characteristic of a cult. To say someone who doesn't go to church isn't saved (and that's arguable- see my previous answer) is different from saying "my church" is the only way to salvation... i'm pretty sure your neighbor is part of a cult...
Hope that helps,
Nickster

When you get to heaven, God is not going to ask you which church you belong to. He is going to ask you if you received his offer of forgivness through sacraficing his only begotton son so that you could spend eternity in Heaven with him. He also will reward you for your good works that you have done during your life.
Usually a very good indication of a cult (counterfiet Christianity) is when a group member will claim that the group they represent is "The only true church on the face of the earth." Jesus (not some organization) is THE WAY, THE TRUTH, AND THE LIFE.

ur neighbor is wrong. nowheres in the bible does it say u have to be a member of a specific church to be saved. Once you are saved, however, u become a part of God's church. You can be a member of a church and still not be saved....going to church does not save any1, it just helps out with living a christian life or understanding the Bible.

Very typical of the devils grand plan of dividing religions into varying denominations to keep Christians confused and guessing. This was the devils grandest gift to mankind but noone really sees it.

He's obviously brainwashed beyond repair. You know what I do in these situations, I treat that person like you would treat the town idiot. They don't know what they are saying so just agree with him and walk away. That way both of you leave happy.

No church is the way to Heaven.
Jesus is the way to Heaven.
We go to church to worship and learn about Jesus.
Going to church doesn't make you saved any more then going to McDonald's makes you a hamburger.
