Been seeing him on and off you approx a year now, nothing too serious, althouhg potentially could be. At the point now where its continue and make it serious or leave it. Should I text?

You should have a talk with him and tell him you want something more than just sex. If he doest want to know then he's not worth it. you deserve better.
